I own about half a dozen pairs of the prAna Brion pants. I wear them to the office, leisure, going out...they are breathable and cool in the hot and warm in the winter. They are not restrictive, so you can climb rocks or climb under the car to change oil without issue. They're a little expensive but the best pants I have.In regard to the shorts, I had the same expectations as the pants and they are every bit as comfortable and versatile. I'd highly recommend these.I still have and wear the original Brion shorts in a 36x9. The cut is similar on the Brion II but they don't give as much in the waist and are cut way smaller. The 36x9 in Brion II is more like a 35. I purchased the 38x9 and they are an exact match for size on the original Brion 36x9Once my husband and sons discovered Prana shorts a few years ago there is no going back. The material "gives" and they look as good after hundreds of washes as they did brand new. The length of the short is perfect.I'm a huge fan of the original brions in charcoal(not avalable any more). No gusset on the new version either. Which throws the feels way off. They are good shorts but not as good as they were. Also seems longer. They were perfect before prana. Don't mess around.I really like these but they started to fall apart in the first week. Seems to be a theme with PranaThe shorts are awesome which is why I was ordering them. I already have a pair. The same size I’ve been wearing for six years now feels 2 sizes too small. I still own an unworn pair of the first version that fit perfectly when I checked after receiving these. Nice job Prana… guess I’ll have to go looking for something different.
